Job DescriptionÂ
We’re looking for an organised and result-oriented individual to join our growing company. You will need to be highly organised, confident and self-motivated for this role. Your main role would be to support Genesis process solutions customers with their current machinery ensuring smooth running and optimum efficiency. This role is incredibly varied and the right candidate will have the opportunity to make this role their own.
Main DutiesÂ
Supporting the Service Department alongside the Operations function to ensure the smooth, efficient, and reliable operation of customers’ machinery, minimizing downtime and maintaining service quality:-
• Act as a point of contact for service related enquiries and issues.
• Attend both customer and suppliers sites when required to do so.Â
• Undertake internal / external service related engineering duties including – repairs / modifications / service and testing of equipment  .
• Support the Genesis workshop function in the assembly of new machinery / projects • Create FAT / SAT documents and perform FAT’s / SAT’s when required .
• liaise with both internal and external customers and suppliers to build new and maintain existing relationships and to ensure all work is undertaken efficiently and in a professional manner.
• Assist in the planning of any installation work including mechanical / electrical work by GPS and sub-contractors and ensuring that all equipment requirements for the job are met.Â
• Ensure all service stock inventory is accounted for when components are used on site.Â
• Conduct site surveys in order to assist other departments such as Spares & Service
• Help to educate customers on GPS equipment and its key features.Â
• Produce all site related documentation as and when required, this could include RAMS, training certificates, calibration certificates or service reports for example.Â
What we are looking forÂ
• Willingness to travel the UK and Ireland 50% – 70% of the time. With nights away when required • Experience of electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, preventative maintenance as well as repair and refurbishment.Â
• Experience of reading and interpreting electrical/mechanical drawings and related technical documents.Â
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Â
• Polite and Professional manner.Â
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with meticulous attention to detail • Competent with Microsoft office package specifically Word, Excel and OutlookÂ
Work Schedule Â
• Monday to Thursday 8:00 to 16:00 (with flexibility when it comes to customer’s needs) • Friday 8:00 to 15:00Â
• 36.5 Hours Per weekÂ

SalaryÂ
• £35,000.00 to £40,000.00 + Overtime

Qualifications / certificationÂ
• BTEC or HNC in Mechanical or electrical engineer (or similar)Â
• Time served apprentice Â
• Full UK Driving license is essential Â
• IOSH Working Safely Â
ExperienceÂ
• 5+ years of field service experienceÂ
• Knowledge of material handling systems (preferred but not essential)Â
• Knowledge of Control panels, Inverters, PLC’s, sensors, Â
• Experience in fault finding and diagnosticsÂ
